reflections

On a scale of 1 to 10 i would rate by physical well being on an 8. The reason i give myself an 8 is i keep active and try to work out at least 5 times a week. On a scale of 1 to 10 judging my spiritual well being i would put myself at a 5 the reason for this is i am pretty much entrenched in this physical world and its vices. On a scale of 1 to 10 i would rate my psychological well being an 8 the reason for this is I'm laid back and take most things in stride not really stressing on the small stuff. My goals for my physical well being is to keep doing what i am doing maybe eat a little better but hey sometimes you need to enjoy the naughty little snacks in life. My spiritual goals is to get some as i said before this is the least developed in my life. My goal for psychological well being is to do some meditation and deep thinking on problems and stress that i come across in my life to make better decisions. The relaxation exercise was very relaxing however i had a lot on my mind as far as school work so my thoughts kept drifting on all the school work i had not completed.

  1. Finding what you are looking in spirituality will depend on how in tune you are with your inner self and what type of beliefs you have. I saw in a post on another blog you questioned spirituality and reglion. Part of spirituality can be centered your religious beliefs. The biggest part is getting being centered and relaxed. I, personally, I pray alot, meditate and perform the relaxation exercises to keep centered and in control. I hope this helps...

  2. Spititual well-being is not an easy thing to grasp. It means different things to different people and we all go about achieving it in various ways. What is your definition of spiritual well-being and how do you intend to go about getting it? I'm curious because even though I consider myself a devoutly religious person I still struggle with advancing on the psychospiritual ladder in the evolutionary aspect of my life. I find that it takes more focus than this society sometimes allows. You truly have to shut yourself out of some things sometimes to reconnect. I hope you find a way that is right for you to reconnect spiritually. Good luck!

  3. It is easy to ignore the spiritual side of life in today's world. It is sometimes to busy to even think. For instance I sometimes wake up, go eat while taking calls on the way, then work straight until lunch, I answer calls I missed from the morning, see clients between lunch and close and then go home and discuss the day with my wife and do homework until bed.

I look forward to being done with school so I can work more in this area as well.
